Since he was a child, Dr. David Tasch of 38th Street Dental has enjoyed drawing, painting, and working with his hands. With his natural talents in mind, becoming a dentist seemed like a natural fit. Dr. Tasch enjoys building relationships with patients and takes great pride in his ability to problem-solve complex dental issues.

I've always been a person that enjoys details. Dentistry was a nice fit for that. As a young child, I enjoyed drawing and painting, so hand skills and fine motor coordination. It seemed like a good fit. There's many aspects of dentistry that I enjoy. The problem-solving aspect of dentistry where somebody comes in with a problem, you have to look at, consider lots of different factors and keep an open mind about what may be at issue to arrive at an objective, judgment, or diagnosis. If it's a patient family that's been with us a while, just seeing their sons and daughters grow up. I enjoy getting to know the patients.
