Bridges: Case 1
Description
Conventional bridges can be a practical solution to a dental problem of great impact: Loss of a tooth or teeth. This particular patient lost his two front teeth due to periodontal disease and bone loss that made dental implant dentistry too challenging. A six unit fixed bridge was the solution here. Removal of the two teeth, fixed bridge temporization, and then final bridge placement after adequate healing made for a nice solution to a tough dental problem.
