Like our other Austin dentists, Dr. Amanda Akkari finds great joy in helping each and every patient who walks through our doors. From enhancing your smile to treating teeth clenching and grinding, she has the training to provide a robust collection of services.
Dr. Akkari received her bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Texas at Austin and later moved to Oklahoma to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma. She continued her studies there where she completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Dr. Akkari is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society, and the Austin Dental Implant Group.

When she's not in the office, Dr. Akkari loves to stay active by going on long walks, playing pickleball, and swimming. She also appreciates all forms of art and design, especially architecture and interior design.
