Dr. Amanda Akkari Our Austin Dentist

Dr. Amanda Akkari - a native Austinite, is happy to be home serving patients in the greater Austin area. Dr. Akkari received her Bachelor’s degree in French from the University of Texas at Austin and later moved to Oklahoma to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma. She continued her studies there where she completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.

Dr. Akkari is committed to advanced education and attends conferences, lectures, and continuing education courses throughout the year in order to stay up to date on the latest literature and technology. She has a passion for all aspects of restorative dentistry, including crown and bridge, cosmetic dentistry, restoring dental implants, and treatment of TMJ disorders.

Dr. Akkari is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society, and the Austin Dental Implant Group.

When not in practice, Dr. Akkari loves to stay active by going on long walks, playing pickleball, or swimming. She also loves all forms of art and design, especially architecture and interior design.

Dr. Akkari is excited to serve patients at 38th St. Dental and looks forward to helping them achieve their desired healthy smiles!
