Veneer temporaries-A nice upgrade or a terrible burden?
From time to time, patients proclaim to me that they don't want to consider cosmetic dentistry because the temporaries might be hard to wear or unnatural looking. As I was beginning to remove a set of veneer/crown temporaries this morning, I realized that I had a great opportunity to show what a set of crown/veneer temporaries look like after three weeks of wear. The attached pictures are not of the final restorations, but instead, a photo of the temporary restorations I placed three weeks prior when we prepared the case for fabrication.
Crown and porcelain veneer temporaries are an opportunity for us to see what the final outcome MIGHT look like in our patient's mouth and smile. I use this opportunity on each case to allow us to both see what our outcome is going to look like and this helps to make sure that everything that is important to you in your vision for your smile is present in the final outcome.
If you are considering a smile makeover, consider calling and appointing for a time for you and I to sit down and talk about your goals for your smile. Clearly, the temporaries are something to look forward to or at least, I hope you think so after checking out the snaps from today's procedure.
Best,
