Fall Dental Implant National Lecture Season Comes to a Close
The summer and fall just blew by us here at 38th Street Dental. Dr. Tasch and I have been continuing our work with both single tooth implant dentistry and full arch rehabilitation with modalities like the Nobel Biocare All on 4, Teeth in a Day concept. All of this is very exciting and very satisfying! Meanwhile, to quote lyrics from an old classic, “I’ve been everywhere man, I’ve been everywhere!”
June found me trekking to Albuquerque, NM and Houston to give my final lectures of the Spring season. July was a month to focus on patient care here in Austin and then the Fall lecture season kicked off with a trip back to Houston. September was a killer with lectures in Oklahoma City, Dallas, Ardmore, OK, Texarkana, and back to Houston.
In October, my wife and I were invited up to Boston, Harford, CT, and Portland Maine for me to lecture to audiences in that market and the fall color change was in full swing. It was fun to have my best buddy along as we sojourned up the East coast from city to city. Later in the month, I spoke to a group in San Antonio and November came rushing in.
November travel has been tough since ABIA flooded. I traveled first week of November to Grand Junction Colorado and then on to Salt Lake City to speak to surgeon’s groups there and had both of my outbound and inbound flights cancelled. It was a tough way to end the season for sure.
So, out of breath and fat on frequent flyer miles, I set off for Lake Jackson tomorrow to give my last lecture of the 2015 year. It has been fantastic to speak at 40 different venues over the last 11 months. What a whirlwind.
So...thanks to Dr. Tasch and my great staff for holding down the fort over the last year. Your willingness to support my interest in teaching has made it all possible. I look forward to next year!
Best,
Dr. M
